Lech Valley, Austria

In September 2023, I joined an AMC Adventure Travel group for a trip to Austria's Lech Valley. We were on a guided hiking trip on Austria's Lechweg, a long distance hiking trail following the Lech River from Western Austria into Germany. We had days of hiking in the high mountains and days in the valley wending our way through some pretty villages on good paths and tracks. We had all kinds of weather from sleet to hot and sunny. The highlight of this trip was the scenery, being able to see for miles and miles in every direction.
